Ensure the spouted cap is fully open and that no debris is blocking the valve or spout opening. Check that the seal inside the cap is correctly positioned.
Verify that the cap is screwed on tightly and securely. Check the silicone seal inside the cap for any damage or improper placement.
Ensure the cap is aligned correctly when screwing it on and off. If stiff, try running the cap under warm water briefly to loosen it, then re-test. Ensure no food residue is affecting the threads.
Although Tritan™ is designed to resist odors and flavors, persistent smells can sometimes occur. Try soaking the bottle and cap in a solution of baking soda and water for several hours or overnight, then wash thoroughly.
