Full details
The Shoof Tubbease Hoof Sock is an innovative remedy for a wide range of equine hoof issues, including laminitis and abscesses. Its basic, airy design is suitable for tubbing, soaking, and use with hoof treatments and poultices. Designed in New Zealand by Shoof International Ltd, it addresses the challenge of poulticing hooves without 'stewing' them. The PVC-moulded hoof sock 'breathes' while protecting and wetting the wounded hoof, and can be applied quickly and easily without dressings or tape. Tubbease allows for various medicines and can be used over hoof wraps and dressings for added protection and hygiene in wet or muddy conditions. The EVA Sole Insert (available separately) provides extra comfort for sensitive soles, relieving pain and extending the life of Tubbease. It's a revolutionary solution for laminitis, abscesses, rot, hoof wounds, or hoof bursts, allowing for optimal internal climate. Velcro strips ensure ideal attachment to the horse's leg, and the breathable design prevents a hot or stuffy environment. The rubberized coating on the bottom prevents moisture penetration while keeping treatment fluid on the hoof. The design is protected (NZ 417646), and the EVA bottom is not included.
