No, these are lifestyle trainers inspired by basketball and are not designed for the impact or mechanics of running.
These trainers follow standard UK adult sizing. It is recommended to choose your usual Nike size for the best fit.
While the construction is durable, the white materials may stain if exposed to mud or extreme water. It is best to avoid heavy rain.
The Nike Air Flight 89 features a combination of durable synthetic and/or leather overlays typical of its classic basketball heritage.
Store them in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight to prevent discoloration of the white portions.
Use a damp, lint-free cloth with a mild leather cleaner or diluted soap solution to gently wipe the area.
This is a natural result of wear on leather-style sneakers; use shoe trees when not wearing to help maintain the original shape.
Ensure you are using a double knot or double-check that the laces are not overly worn or frayed.
To ensure your Air Flight 89 trainers last, follow these care guidelines: Always lace the shoes snugly to ensure the proper support of the ankle collar. Because of the white exterior, it is recommended to spot-clean with a soft cloth and mild soap periodically. Avoid machine washing or drying, as this can degrade the adhesives and materials. For compatibility, these sneakers are true-to-size for adult male fits, making them easy to match with standard athletic or denim apparel.
