What is the heel-to-toe drop?
The shoe features a 10 mm drop, with a heel height of 35 mm and a forefoot height of 25 mm.
Does this shoe contain recycled materials?
Yes, the product is constructed with at least 20% recycled content to help reduce environmental impact.
Is the outsole durable enough for gravel paths?
The Adiwear outsole is designed for high durability and provides a textured grip that handles paved surfaces and light trail use well.
Troubleshooting
Foot slipping inside the shoe
Ensure the lace-up closure is snug through the midfoot and consider using the top eyelet to create a runner's loop.
Feeling discomfort after long runs
Check that the OrthoLite sockliner is positioned correctly and verify that you are wearing moisture-wicking running socks.

Setup, Compatibility & Care
To ensure the longest lifespan for your adidas Ultrarun 5 trainers, follow these maintenance tips:
- Sizing: These shoes offer a regular fit; ensure you choose your standard running shoe size for optimal lockdown.
- Cleaning: Hand wash gently with a soft cloth and mild soap. Do not submerge them in water for long periods or use harsh detergents.
- Drying: Air dry in a well-ventilated area away from direct heat sources like radiators or sunlight, as high heat can degrade the midsole cushioning.
- Rotation: Allow the EVA foam in the midsole to recover for at least 24 hours between long runs to maintain its responsiveness.
