This all-round road cycling shoe is designed for weekend group rides, daily training, and granfondo events. The Overcurve R4’s classic aesthetic hides an advanced construction technique: a resilient polyurethane laminated material is combined with comfortable mesh, reducing energy loss and providing long-lasting foot support. Designed for riders with wider feet, the Overcurve R4 Wide offers a higher volume fit with more forefoot room. The closure system is fast, reliable, and secure, utilizing a micro-adjustable BOA® IP1 dial in an Overcurve pattern. The shoe's construction features a staggered collar that wraps around the ankle, following the natural alignment of the ankle's bony protrusions. This results in an asymmetrical shape where the shoe's throat curves over the foot. The moderately stiff R4 outsole balances comfort and pedaling efficiency for versatile use. It features a lower profile, structurally optimized with 15% infused carbon fiber and internal channeling for effective temperature regulation. The cleat is positioned slightly further back than traditional placement to optimize pedaling efficiency and reduce knee compression, especially suitable for aggressive aero riding positions. Key Specifications: PU laminate over mesh upper, BOA® IP1-B dial closure, R4 outsole (carbon injected nylon, stiffness index 7), Weight: 232 g (size 42- ½ pair). Series: Tempo - versatility road series designed for the most enjoyable riding experience. Use: Road cycling - engineered for paved roads.
