Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup:
- Ensure your walls are clean, dry, and free from imperfections. Prepare the surface by removing old wallpaper and filling any holes or cracks.
- Cut wallpaper strips to the required length, allowing extra for trimming at the ceiling and skirting board.
- Apply wallpaper paste evenly to the back of each strip, following the paste manufacturer's instructions.
- Book the pasted wallpaper by folding the ends towards the middle and allow it to rest for the recommended time.
- Hang the first strip vertically, ensuring it is level using a spirit level.
- Butt the edges of subsequent strips together, aligning the offset pattern repeat carefully.
- Smooth the wallpaper onto the wall using a wallpaper brush or smoothing tool, working from the centre outwards to remove air bubbles.
- Trim excess wallpaper at the ceiling and skirting board with a sharp knife.
Compatibility:
This wallpaper is suitable for most interior walls in dry areas of the home, including living rooms, bedrooms, dining rooms, and hallways.
Care:
The wallpaper is spongeable. For light cleaning, use a damp cloth or sponge with a mild detergent if necessary. Avoid excessive rubbing or harsh chemicals to prevent damage to the finish or colour.
