FAQs

What type of bulb does the Struttura floor lamp use?

The lamp uses an E27 base bulb. It comes with an LED bulb included, but you can replace it with any E27 bulb of compatible wattage. Info needed: [Maximum wattage rating].

Is assembly difficult, and are tools included?

Assembly is generally straightforward, requiring basic household tools like an Allen key and a screwdriver. Often, the necessary tools are included in the packaging, or standard tools you likely already own will suffice. Detailed instructions are provided.

What is the weight capacity of each shelf?

Info needed: [Maximum weight capacity per shelf]. The shelves are designed for light decorative items, books, and small electronics. Avoid placing heavy objects to maintain stability and prevent damage.

How do I clean the lamp and shelves?

Wipe the wooden surfaces with a soft, dry cloth. For tougher marks, a slightly damp cloth can be used, followed immediately by a dry cloth to prevent moisture damage to the wood. Do not use abrasive cleaners.

Can I use a smart bulb with this lamp?

Yes, as long as the smart bulb has an E27 base and its wattage is within the lamp's specified limits (Info needed: [Maximum wattage rating]), it should be compatible.

What are the dimensions of the lamp?

The lamp measures H160 x W26 x D26cm, making it suitable for various spaces while offering a compact footprint.

Troubleshooting

Lamp does not turn on.
  1. Ensure the power cord is securely plugged into a working wall outlet. 2. Check the in-line switch on the power cord to confirm it's in the 'on' position. 3. Verify the LED bulb is securely screwed into the lamp holder. 4. Try the bulb in another lamp or a different bulb in this lamp to check if the bulb is faulty.
Lamp flickers.
  1. Ensure the LED bulb is screwed in tightly. A loose connection can cause flickering. 2. If using a dimmer switch (and the lamp is compatible, Info needed: [Dimmer compatibility]), ensure the bulb is also dimmer-compatible. 3. Try a different bulb to rule out a faulty bulb.
The lamp feels wobbly or unstable.
  1. Carefully re-examine all assembly points and tighten any loose screws. 2. Ensure the lamp is placed on a flat, even surface. 3. Check that the base is correctly attached and tightened to the main frame.

Setup, Compatibility & Care

Getting your Struttura floor lamp ready and maintaining its appearance is straightforward.

Setup Instructions

  1. Unpack All Components: Carefully remove all parts from the packaging. Lay them out to ensure nothing is missing. You should have wooden frame pieces, shelves, the lamp fixture, the base, and an LED bulb.
  2. Assemble the Frame: Follow the included assembly instructions to connect the wooden frame pieces and attach the shelves. This typically involves using screws and an Allen key (often provided).
  3. Attach the Base: Securely fasten the assembled frame to the sturdy base.
  4. Install the Lamp Fixture: Connect the lamp holder part to the top of the frame as instructed.
  5. Insert the LED Bulb: Carefully screw the provided LED bulb into the lamp holder. Ensure it is snug but do not overtighten.
  6. Plug In: Place the lamp in your desired location, ensuring the power cord can reach a wall outlet without being strained or creating a tripping hazard. Plug it in and switch it on.

Compatibility

  • Power: This lamp is compatible with standard household electrical outlets. It is designed for use with an E27 base bulb.
  • Bulb: While an LED bulb is included, you can replace it with any E27 base bulb of compatible wattage. Always check the lamp's maximum wattage rating to avoid overload. Info needed: [Maximum wattage rating for bulb].

Care & Maintenance

  • Cleaning: To clean the wooden frame and shelves, wipe gently with a soft, dry cloth. For minor smudges, a slightly damp cloth can be used, followed by drying immediately. Avoid harsh chemical cleaners or abrasive materials, as these can damage the finish.
  • Bulb Replacement: When replacing the bulb, ensure the lamp is unplugged and the bulb is cool to the touch.
  • Stability: Periodically check that all screws and connections are tight to ensure the lamp remains stable. Do not exceed the suggested weight capacity for the shelves. Info needed: [Maximum weight capacity per shelf].
  • Placement: Avoid placing the lamp in areas of high humidity or direct prolonged sunlight, which can affect the wood's finish.
