FAQs

Can I wear these sandals in the rain?

While the leather is high quality, it is not waterproof. It is best to avoid heavy rain and use a leather protective spray to increase resistance.

Are these sandals machine washable?

No, you must never machine wash these sandals. Doing so will damage the leather upper and the structural integrity of the wedge.

How do I ensure I am buying the right size?

The Bex range is available in standard UK sizes. Use your typical shoe size as a reference, utilizing the buckle for minor tension adjustments.

Is the wedge heel stable for walking?

Yes, the PU wedge outsole is designed to offer a stable, broad base that supports the foot better than a traditional slim heel.

What kind of care products should I use?

It is recommended to use official Hush Puppies care products specifically formulated for leather footwear to maintain the material.

Troubleshooting

Buckle feels loose or too tight

Adjust the buckle pin to the next hole setting to achieve a more secure or relaxed fit.

Leather looks dull or loses its shine

Use a leather conditioner or cream approved for Hush Puppies products to restore the moisture and sheen of the material.

Material becomes wet or stained

Gently pat dry with a clean cloth immediately and allow to air dry naturally away from radiators or direct sunlight.

Setup, Compatibility & Care

To ensure your Bex Wedge Sandals remain in top condition, follow these guidelines:

  1. Initial Setup: Adjust the buckle to your preferred tightness. Ensure your foot sits centrally on the cushioned insole.
  2. Cleaning: Never place these sandals in a washing machine. Wipe the leather upper with a soft, dry cloth to remove loose dirt.
  3. Protection: Use recommended Hush Puppies leather care products to treat the upper, which helps repel moisture and prevent staining.
  4. Storage: Keep sandals in a cool, dry place away from direct heat sources to prevent the leather from drying out or cracking.
  5. Compatibility: These sandals are designed for standard adult fits. If you are between sizes, consider the adjustment range provided by the buckle.
