FAQs

Are these shoes machine washable?

No, it is recommended to clean these trainers by hand with a damp cloth to protect the leather and synthetic components.

Are they suitable for sports?

While they are comfortable for casual wear and walking, they are designed as fashion trainers rather than high-performance athletic shoes.

Do these fit true to size?

Yes, the Puma Caven 2.0 series generally follows standard UK sizing, though it is recommended to measure the child's foot to ensure proper growth room.

What material is the lining?

The lining is made of 100% textile to provide comfort and breathability.

Can I use these in the rain?

While they are durable, the leather and textile construction is not waterproof; avoid deep puddles to keep the interior dry.

Troubleshooting

Laces coming undone frequently

Double-knot the laces or replace them with slightly longer ones for a more secure hold.

Scuff marks on leather

Use a specialized leather cleaner or a gentle eraser to buff out light scuffs.

Sole feels slippery on wet surfaces

Clean the rubber outsole with a stiff brush to remove debris that may be obstructing grip.

Pros and Cons

Pros

Durable leather upper for longevity
Secure lace-up closure for a custom fit
Rubber sole provides excellent traction
Comfortable textile lining for all-day wear

Cons

White colour shows dirt more easily
Leather requires specific care to prevent creasing
Limited to flat heel support

Setup, Compatibility & Care

For the best fit, ensure the laces are adjusted to the child's foot width to prevent slipping. Since these are leather-based, avoid prolonged exposure to heavy mud or rain. To clean, wipe the uppers with a damp cloth and mild soap; do not machine wash or submerge the shoes in water, as this can damage the material integrity. Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight to preserve the white finish.
