FAQs
Are these shoes suitable for wide feet?
The Nike Air Zoom GT Jump generally offers a standard fit. Players with wider feet may find them snug initially due to the leather construction. Trying them on or consulting user reviews for specific width feedback is recommended.
How does the Air Zoom cushioning perform over time?
The Air Zoom units are designed for durability and sustained responsiveness. With proper care and use, the cushioning should maintain its performance characteristics for the expected lifespan of the shoe.
Can I use these for outdoor basketball?
While durable, these trainers are primarily designed for indoor court performance. Extended use on abrasive outdoor surfaces may lead to accelerated wear on the outsole and upper materials.
What is the main benefit of the high-top design?
The high-top design provides increased ankle support and stability, which can help reduce the risk of ankle rolls during dynamic basketball movements.
How do I know if I have the right size?
Ensure there is a thumb's width of space between your longest toe and the end of the shoe when standing. The heel should feel secure without excessive slipping, and the midfoot should feel comfortably snug.
What is the MPN for this specific shoe?
The MPN for the Nike Air Zoom GT Jump 'Summit White' in UK size 14 is CZ9907-101.
Troubleshooting
Laces are difficult to tighten evenly
Ensure laces are threaded through all eyelets correctly. Try a different lacing technique, such as a runner's knot, to achieve a more uniform tension.
Discomfort during initial wear
The leather material requires a break-in period. Wear the shoes for short periods initially and gradually increase wear time. Ensure you have the correct size and consider if the high-top is suitable for your ankle mobility preference.
Traction feels reduced on dusty courts
Wipe the outsoles with a damp cloth to remove accumulated dust and debris. Regularly clean the outsoles to maintain optimal grip.
