Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup:
- Measure the area where the trim will be applied.
- Using a fine-toothed saw or utility knife, carefully cut the PVC trim to the required length.
- Ensure the wall surface is clean, dry, and free from dust or grease.
- Apply a suitable grab adhesive to the back of the trim or the wall surface, following the adhesive manufacturer's instructions.
- Alternatively, pre-drill holes in the trim and secure it to the wall using appropriate screws (ensure these are suitable for your wall type).
- Press the trim firmly into place and hold for a few moments, or secure with temporary tape if using adhesive alone.
- Allow adhesive to cure fully before applying any stress to the trim.
Compatibility:
This trim is designed for use on internal and external wall surfaces. It is compatible with plaster, paint, wallpaper, and tile finishes. Its flat profile makes it suitable for joining flat surfaces or covering edges.
Care:
To maintain the appearance of the trim, simply wipe it clean with a damp cloth and mild detergent. Avoid using abrasive cleaners or solvents, as these can damage the surface.
