Setup, Compatibility & Care
Installation requires basic carpentry skills and measuring tools. Ensure your 10mm expansion gap is consistent across the entire corner before fitting the trim. If the gap is too small, the material may buckle; if too large, the trim may struggle to cover the opening.
Installation Steps:
- Measure the vertical height of the corner and mark your trim.
- Cut the trim using a fine-toothed saw or hacksaw to ensure a smooth, burr-free edge.
- Apply PVC glue to one side of the joint.
- Apply low-modulus silicone to the other side to allow for thermal expansion.
- Press firmly into place and wipe away any excess silicone immediately.
Care is minimal; simply wipe the trim down with a damp cloth and mild soap during regular roofline maintenance to remove dirt or debris.
