The Gardner Kinetic Distance Braided Mainline is designed for serious carp anglers who require maximum casting distance and reliable sensitivity. It is an excellent choice for those targeting long-range spots, though its zero-stretch nature requires a more cautious approach when playing fish close to the net to prevent hook pulls.

Yes, its low diameter and strength make it excellent for distance PVA work.
It is highly recommended when casting at extreme ranges to protect the mainline and prevent crack-offs.
The product is supplied on a 300-meter spool.
Yes, the Dyneema construction is highly resistant to abrasion, making it ideal for weedy or snaggy venues.
Absolutely; the sensitivity of the braid is ideal for detecting bites at long distances in feeder setups.
Ensure you load the line under firm tension and avoid overfilling the spool to the very edge.
Switch to a braid-specific knot like the Grinner or Palomar, and ensure you lubricate the knot with water before tightening.
Check your rod rings for damage and ensure the spool is filled properly; use a slightly lighter lead if the line is not clearing the rings cleanly.
When setting up the Kinetic Distance Mainline, it is recommended to use a shock leader if you are casting heavy leads at maximum power, as braided lines have no elastic shock absorption. Because of the slick nature of Dyneema, ensure you use braid-friendly knots such as the Palomar or a specialized braid knot to prevent slippage. When winding the line onto your reel for the first time, keep the line under tension to ensure an even lay, which prevents line dig-in. To maintain the line's longevity, rinse it with fresh water after fishing in silty or abrasive environments and store your reels out of direct sunlight to prevent fiber degradation.
