Uvex 1 8517.2 S3 SRC Safety Boots. ESD Rated Metal-Free. These uvex 1 safety shoes in protection class S3 provide optimal protection and support for the individual movements of the human body. Designed based on the latest physiological research and innovative technologies, they reduce work-related stresses on the musculoskeletal system and optimize the wearer's wellbeing. The ergonomic construction offers the perfect balance between protection and comfort with a clear, minimalist look. They feature protection class S3 in accordance with EN ISO 20345:2011 with additional marking for excellent slip resistance (SRC), meet ESD specifications with a bleeder resistor under 35 megaohms, and have a 100% metal-free uvex xenova toe cap that is compact, anatomically formed, not thermally conductive, and has good side stability. The ergonomically designed outsole is made from dual-density polyurethane with excellent slip resistance, and includes medial and lateral heel support with a specially designed side frame for additional protection from ankle twisting, stabilizing and guiding the foot while providing impact protection.
