Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup: Ensure the connecting threads on the adapter and your existing components are clean. Screw the adapter onto the desired component port (e.g., radiator, pump, water block) ensuring a snug fit. If using with soft tubing and barbed fittings, attach the tubing securely to the adapter's barb and use clamps if necessary. For hardline tubing, ensure your cut is clean and the tube is properly seated within the compression fitting attached to the adapter. For the rotary fittings, gently rotate to the desired position before fully tightening.
Compatibility: This fitting features standard 1/4" threads, making it compatible with the vast majority of custom PC liquid cooling components from various manufacturers, including radiators, pumps, reservoirs, and water blocks. It is designed to work with hardline, compression, and barbed fittings. Always verify the outer diameter of your tubing matches the requirements of the compression or barbed fitting you are using.
Care: To maintain optimal performance and appearance, regularly inspect fittings for any signs of leaks or corrosion. Clean the exterior with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid using abrasive cleaners or solvents, as they can damage the finish. Periodically flush your entire cooling loop according to your coolant manufacturer's recommendations to prevent debris buildup.
