Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup
Using your K Swiss Court Blast shoes is straightforward:
- Unpack: Remove the shoes from their packaging.
- Lace Up: Insert your foot and use the lace-up fastening to secure the shoe. Adjust the laces to achieve a snug, comfortable fit that supports your foot without being too tight.
- Break-In Period: While designed for comfort, it's always recommended to wear new tennis shoes for shorter periods initially to allow them to conform to your foot shape before extended play.
Compatibility
These shoes are primarily designed for tennis. Their features, such as enhanced grip, cushioning, and durability, are optimized for the movements and surfaces typical of tennis courts. They are suitable for various court types, though their performance may vary slightly based on surface (hard court, clay, grass).
Care Instructions
Proper care will extend the life and maintain the appearance of your K Swiss Court Blast shoes:
- Cleaning the Upper: For the synthetic leather-look upper, gently wipe with a damp cloth. For tougher marks, a mild soap solution can be used. Avoid harsh chemical cleaners as they may damage the material.
- Cleaning the Sole: Use a stiff brush or old toothbrush to remove dirt and debris from the sole, ensuring optimal grip. A damp cloth can clean the sides of the sole.
- Drying: Allow shoes to air dry naturally at room temperature. Do not expose them to direct heat sources like radiators or direct sunlight, as this can cause materials to warp or crack.
- Storage: Store your shoes in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight when not in use. Stuffing them with newspaper can help maintain their shape and absorb any residual moisture.
- Avoid Machine Washing: Do not machine wash or tumble dry your tennis shoes, as this can damage the materials and construction.
