Preparation & Care
Preparation for Wear
- Unpack Carefully: Upon receiving your dress, gently remove it from its packaging to avoid creasing the satin fabric.
- Hang Properly: Immediately hang the dress on a padded hanger to allow any minor creases to relax. Ensure it's hung in an area with good air circulation, away from direct sunlight.
- Steaming: If necessary, use a garment steamer on a low setting for delicate fabrics to remove any remaining wrinkles. Hold the steamer several inches away from the fabric, moving it gently. Avoid direct contact with a hot iron, as this can damage satin.
Material & Care
This garment is made from Satin.
- Cleaning: Due to the delicate nature of satin, professional dry cleaning is highly recommended to maintain the fabric's integrity and sheen. If hand washing, use cold water with a mild detergent formulated for delicate fabrics. Do not wring or twist the fabric.
- Drying: Lay flat to dry on a clean, dry towel, away from direct heat or sunlight. Avoid tumble drying.
- Storage: Store the dress on a padded hanger in a breathable garment bag to protect it from dust and snags. Avoid hanging it in direct sunlight for prolonged periods, as this can cause color fading.
