FAQs

What are the exact dimensions of this radiator cover?

External dimensions are W78 x D19 x H82cm. Internal dimensions, which are crucial for fitting over your radiator, are W73 x D16.5 x H79cm.

Is this product difficult to assemble?

The cover is supplied flat-packed for self-assembly, but it comes with clear, step-by-step instructions. Most users find it straightforward to put together.

Will the cover deform or get damaged by heat from the radiator?

No, the radiator cover is specifically designed from materials that do not deform when subjected to heat, ensuring its durability and safety.

How do I clean the high-gloss black surface?

To clean, simply wipe the surface with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid using abrasive cleaners or harsh chemicals, which can damage the finish.

Can I paint this radiator cover?

Due to its high-gloss UV finish, painting is not recommended as it may not adhere properly or could damage the original sleek appearance.

What is the purpose of the skirting board cut-out?

The skirting board cut-out allows the radiator cover to fit flush against the wall, easily accommodating most standard-sized skirting boards without needing modification.

Is wall mounting necessary for stability?

Yes, for optimal stability and safety, especially in households with children or pets, it is highly recommended to use the provided wall-hanging device to secure the cover to the wall.

Troubleshooting

Radiator cover does not fit over my radiator.

Verify your radiator's measurements against the cover's internal dimensions (W73 x D16.5 x H79cm). This cover is designed for radiators smaller than these internal measurements.

The cover feels unstable after assembly.

Ensure the wall-hanging device is securely attached to both the cover and the wall. Use appropriate wall fixings for your specific wall material to guarantee stability.

High-gloss surface shows fingerprints or smudges easily.

This is common with high-gloss finishes. Gently wipe the surface with a soft, damp cloth or a microfiber cloth. Avoid using paper towels or abrasive cleaners that could scratch the finish.
