Product Information

Full details

This set of four white 60mm cable grommets is designed for individuals and professionals seeking to tidy up cable management in various workspaces. Its key benefit is the simple yet effective way it organizes cables, preventing tangles and providing a cleaner aesthetic. A minor caveat is that the 60mm size may not accommodate very large cable bundles or power plugs directly without using the removable cover. These grommets are made from durable plastic and feature a versatile cover plate that can be adjusted or removed for easy cable routing.

FAQs

What is the exact outer diameter of the grommet?

The outer diameter is designed to fit a 60mm hole. The exact flange diameter is slightly larger to sit on top of the desk surface.

Can I fit a standard power strip cable through this grommet?

The cover plate can be removed entirely, allowing you to pass larger plugs and cables, including some power strip cables, through the desk opening.

How many grommets are included in a set?

Each set includes four (4) cable grommets.

What material are these grommets made of?

They are made from strong, high-quality plastic.

Is the cover permanently attached?

No, the cover plate can be revolved to adjust cable access or removed completely.

Can I cut the grommet to fit a non-standard hole?

While the plastic can be cut, it is not recommended as it may compromise the structural integrity and finish of the grommet.

Troubleshooting

Grommet does not fit the desk hole.

Verify the diameter of your desk cutout matches the 60mm specification of the grommet. If the hole is slightly larger, the grommet may not sit securely. If the hole is smaller, it will need to be enlarged.

Cover plate is difficult to rotate or remove.

Ensure there are no cables obstructing the movement of the cover. Gently try to adjust the cover's position. If it's stuck, check for any manufacturing debris.

Cables do not stay neatly routed.

Ensure the cover plate is properly secured and aligned. For very thick bundles, consider using cable ties or Velcro straps before passing them through the grommet for maximum tidiness.
