While the 880 series offers support, this specific suede variant is primarily designed for lifestyle and casual everyday use rather than high-performance running.
Use a dry, soft-bristled brush to remove dirt. For deeper stains, use a dedicated suede eraser or a professional suede cleaning kit.
No. Machine washing can ruin the suede material and compromise the structural adhesives of the trainers.
New Balance typically offers a consistent fit across the 880 series. If you have previously worn other New Balance models, the sizing should remain standard.
The upper is constructed from premium suede, providing a balance of durability and a soft feel.
Use a soft-bristled suede brush to gently stroke the material in one direction to lift debris.
Wear the shoes for a short period to allow your body heat and movement to naturally soften the suede fibers.
Stuff the interior with clean paper towels to absorb moisture and let them dry in a well-ventilated area at room temperature.
To ensure your New Balance 880 trainers maintain their shape and material quality, it is important to follow proper care protocols. Avoid submerging the suede in water; instead, use a specialized suede brush to remove surface dust and dirt regularly. If the shoes become wet, allow them to air dry naturally away from direct heat sources, such as radiators, which can cause the material to stiffen or crack. For sizing, ensure you have measured your foot accurately to match the UK 7.5 fit, as a proper size ensures the supportive internal architecture functions as intended.
