Troubleshooting
iPad is unresponsive or frozen
Perform a force restart. Press and quickly release the volume up button, then press and quickly release the volume down button. Finally, press and hold the top button until the Apple logo appears.
Cannot connect to Wi-Fi or Wi-Fi is slow
Check if Wi-Fi is enabled in Settings. Restart your Wi-Fi router and your iPad. If the problem persists, go to `Settings > General > Transfer or Reset iPad > Reset > Reset Network Settings`. This will reset all network settings, including Wi-Fi passwords.
Touch ID is not recognizing my fingerprint
Ensure your finger and the Touch ID sensor on the top button are clean and dry. Try re-enrolling your fingerprint in `Settings > Touch ID & Passcode` if the issue continues. Make sure you cover the entire sensor with your finger during setup.
Apps are crashing or not loading
First, try closing the problematic app by swiping up from the bottom of the screen to reveal the App Switcher, then swipe the app's preview up and off the screen. Relaunch the app. If it persists, check the App Store for updates for that specific app. As a last resort, delete and reinstall the app (you might lose app data not backed up). Ensure your iPadOS is up to date.
Battery drains faster than expected
Review battery usage in `Settings > Battery` to identify apps consuming the most power. Reduce screen brightness, disable 'Background App Refresh' for unnecessary apps (`Settings > General > Background App Refresh`), and ensure 'Low Power Mode' is enabled when needed. Keep iPadOS updated.
