The Regatta Sweetheart Marl Half Zip Fleece is an ideal mid-layer for adult women seeking a lightweight yet cozy garment for outdoor activities like hiking, brisk walking, or casual daily wear. Its primary benefit lies in the symmetry fleece construction that provides essential insulation while maintaining breathability, though users should note it is designed primarily as a layering piece rather than a heavy-duty waterproof outer shell.

No, the Sweetheart Marl is designed for warmth and breathability, not as a waterproof garment.
It is recommended to air dry the fleece to prevent damage to the anti-pill fabric and maintain the garment's shape.
Wear a moisture-wicking base layer underneath, the fleece as your mid-layer, and a waterproof shell on top for maximum protection.
It is a manufacturing process that prevents the fibers on the surface of the fabric from tangling and creating small balls or 'pills'.
Yes, the zip can be pulled up to the neck for extra warmth during colder outings.
Use a fabric shaver gently on the surface to remove small knots and maintain the smooth appearance.
Ensure you are not using fabric conditioner, which can coat the fibers. Air drying often restores the original softness.
To keep your fleece in peak condition, machine wash it in cool water on a gentle cycle. Avoid using fabric softeners, as these can interfere with the fleece's technical fibers and wick-ability. Hang dry whenever possible to preserve the structure of the garment and prevent pilling. This fleece is highly compatible with other Regatta outdoor gear and can be layered effectively under heavier parkas or windbreakers for winter-specific performance.
