The Rangemaster Mid Duty 750 is an ideal solution for homeowners looking to improve kitchen hygiene and reduce landfill waste through efficient on-site food processing. By grinding scraps into fine particles, it prevents pipe blockages and maintains a cleaner sink environment; however, users should be aware that it requires a dedicated electrical connection and must be kept clear of fibrous or non-food materials to function optimally.

Yes, small amounts of coffee grounds are generally acceptable, though it is best to flush them with plenty of cold water.
Because the unit requires a 220/240v mains electrical connection, we recommend hiring a qualified electrician to ensure safety and compliance.
Bio Shield is an antimicrobial coating inside the unit that helps prevent the buildup of odor-causing bacteria.
It is designed for standard kitchen sinks, but you should verify your sink's drain diameter and under-sink clearance before purchase.
Avoid fibrous vegetables, large bones, grease, oil, plastic, metal, or glass as these can damage the motor or cause plumbing clogs.
The unit is largely self-cleaning, but you can periodically grind small ice cubes or citrus peels to help scrub the grinding chamber.
Check if the overload protector has tripped or ensure the electrical connection to the 220/240v mains is secure.
Turn off the unit and check the chamber for foreign objects like silverware or plastic which may be caught in the grinding mechanism.
Ensure that the food waste has been properly shredded and flush the system with cold water to clear residual particles from the pipe.
This unit is designed for standard kitchen sink installations and requires a 220/240v mains connection. Before installing, ensure your sink flange matches the unit's mounting system. To maintain the unit, avoid putting harsh chemicals or non-food items (like glass, metal, or plastic) into the disposal, as these can damage the grinding elements. Regularly run cold water for several seconds before and after using the unit to ensure all particles are flushed completely through your plumbing system.
