Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup:
- Remove all packaging materials.
- Place the toaster on a stable, dry, and heat-resistant surface, away from curtains or flammable materials.
- Plug the power cord into a standard household electrical outlet.
Compatibility:
This toaster is designed for standard household power outlets. It is compatible with most common bread types, including standard slices, thick-cut artisanal breads, bagels, English muffins, and frozen items.
Care:
- Cleaning the Exterior: Wipe the stainless steel exterior with a soft, damp cloth. Dry thoroughly. Avoid abrasive cleaners or scouring pads.
- Cleaning the Interior: Ensure the toaster is unplugged and completely cool. Gently shake out any loose crumbs. Slide out the crumb tray located at the bottom of the toaster. Empty the crumb tray and wipe it clean with a damp cloth. Slide the tray back into place. Periodically, you may need to turn the toaster upside down over a sink or bin to dislodge any stubborn crumbs, *after ensuring it is cool and unplugged*.
- Storage: When not in use, ensure the toaster is cool and unplugged. Store in a dry place. The built-in cord storage can help keep the countertop tidy.
