Setup, Compatibility & Care
To install the JRP Flat Head Rivet Nuts, first drill a hole of the appropriate diameter for an M6 rivet nut. Ensure the material is clean and free of burrs to prevent misalignment. Insert the rivet nut into the hole and use a professional-grade riveting tool to collapse the body; this creates the secure 'bulge' on the backside that locks the nut into the material. Because these are made from corrosion-resistant materials, they require minimal care; however, checking for signs of loosening after heavy vibration or moisture exposure is recommended as part of routine maintenance.
