Product Information

Full details

The On 1/4 Zip Fleece is designed for active adults who need a versatile mid-layer that balances thermal insulation with breathability during training sessions. Its primary benefit is the combination of core warmth for recovery intervals and adjustable ventilation via the quarter-zip opening, making it an excellent choice for runners or gym-goers; however, the structured fleece fabric is intended for training and casual layering rather than extreme weather protection as a standalone outer shell.

FAQs

Is this fleece waterproof?

No, it is designed for warmth and breathability rather than water resistance.

Can I use this for long-distance running?

Yes, it is suitable for runs in cooler conditions, provided the temperature is managed with the quarter-zip.

What is the best way to store the fleece?

Store it hanging on a wide hanger to maintain the shape of the structured collar.

Does the fabric shrink?

When washed and dried according to the care instructions, the garment is designed to maintain its shape and fit.

Is this suitable for post-workout recovery?

Yes, its thermal properties are ideal for keeping muscles warm while your heart rate returns to normal after training.

Troubleshooting

Garment feels less insulating after frequent washing

Ensure you are not using fabric softeners, as they can coat the fibers and inhibit the fleece's thermal performance.

Zipper feels stiff or difficult to slide

Check for debris or fabric caught in the teeth; gently clean the zipper track with a soft brush to remove dust or lint.

Setup, Compatibility & Care

To ensure the longevity of your fleece, follow these care guidelines:

Washing: Machine wash on a cold, gentle cycle with similar colors. Avoid heavy detergents.
Drying: Air dry whenever possible to preserve the integrity of the fleece fibers. If using a machine, tumble dry on the lowest heat setting.
Ironing/Bleach: Do not use bleach or iron the garment, as these can compromise the technical properties of the synthetic material.
Compatibility: This garment pairs best with technical base layers and standard athletic trousers. The neutral grey color is highly compatible with most sportswear palettes.
