FAQs
What is the difference between this shirt and a modern slim-fit polo?
This model features a 'Classic Fit,' which is more generous in the body and sleeves compared to a slim-fit cut, offering a more traditional and comfortable silhouette.
Is the fabric 100% cotton?
Yes, this shirt is constructed from 100% cotton pique, ensuring natural breathability and softness.
Are the buttons made of real pearl?
Yes, the garment features premium mother-of-pearl buttons, which are known for their durability and distinct luster.
How should I choose my size?
The shirt follows standard adult sizing. Since it is a 'Classic Fit' made of cotton, it is designed to fit true to size. Refer to your typical shirt size for the best result.
Can I put this shirt in the dryer?
While air drying is best to prevent shrinkage, if you must use a dryer, use the lowest heat setting possible and remove the shirt while slightly damp.
Troubleshooting
The collar has lost its original crisp shape.
Lightly starch the collar during ironing or use a collar stay to help it regain a structured form.
Fabric feels stiff after air drying.
Shake the shirt vigorously before hanging to air dry, or tumble dry on a low-heat, 'fluff' cycle for just 5 minutes.

Setup, Compatibility & Care
To ensure your Lacoste polo remains in top condition, follow these care guidelines:
- Washing: Machine wash on a gentle cycle using cool water to prevent fiber stress.
- Drying: Air drying is recommended to maintain the integrity of the cotton pique. Avoid high-heat tumble drying, which is the primary cause of shrinkage.
- Ironing: Use a medium-heat setting. Ironing while the garment is slightly damp yields the best results for a smooth finish.
- Storage: Fold the shirt neatly or hang it on a shaped hanger to keep the collar and shoulder seams aligned properly.
