Yes, it can be machine washed on a gentle cycle. Refer to the care label inside the garment for specific temperature settings.
No, it uses feather-free recycled synthetic down, making it an excellent choice for those who prefer synthetic materials.
The jacket features a water-repellent finish for light showers, but it is not waterproof and should not be used as a primary layer in heavy rain.
Store the jacket on a sturdy hanger in a cool, dry place to maintain its shape and loft of the insulation.
The hood is fixed to the jacket to provide maximum protection and warmth against the elements.
The water-repellent finish may be wearing off; wash the jacket and reapply a DWR (Durable Water Repellent) spray.
Ensure the jacket is completely dry and gently shake or fluff the garment to redistribute the synthetic fibers.
As a garment, no complex setup is required. For optimal care, it is recommended to wash the jacket on a gentle cycle in cold water to preserve the synthetic insulation and the water-repellent treatment. Avoid using heavy detergents or fabric softeners, as these can strip the outer coating. Always air dry the garment flat or on a hanger in a well-ventilated area away from direct heat sources. To maintain the jacket's water-repellent properties over time, you may apply a spray-on waterproofing treatment specifically designed for synthetic technical apparel.
