Setup, Compatibility & Care
To ensure the longevity of your boots, follow these care instructions:
- Cleaning: After each hike, remove dried mud and dirt with a soft brush. For deeper cleaning, use a damp cloth with mild leather cleaner.
- Drying: Air dry your boots at room temperature away from direct heat sources like radiators, as extreme heat can crack the leather.
- Waterproofing: While the TimberDry membrane is built-in, applying a leather-safe water repellent periodically can help maintain the leather's appearance and weather resistance.
- Storage: Store in a cool, dry place out of direct sunlight to prevent material degradation.
- Lacing: Ensure the tongue is properly aligned and the laces are tightened evenly across the bridge of the foot to avoid pressure points.
