Setup, Compatibility & Care
To ensure your Hestra gloves last for many seasons, proper care is essential. Since these are made of premium lambskin, avoid exposing them to excessive moisture or harsh chemicals. If they become wet from snow or rain, allow them to air dry naturally at room temperature away from direct heat sources like radiators or fireplaces, which can cause the leather to crack. When not in use, store them in a cool, dry place and ensure they are laid flat to retain their shape. Over time, you may apply a leather conditioner specifically formulated for fine calf or lambskin to keep the leather supple and prevent it from losing its luster. For cleaning, use a soft, slightly damp cloth to wipe away surface debris, taking care not to oversaturate the leather.
