Setup, Compatibility & Care
These shoes are ready to wear out of the box; no specialized break-in period is typically required, though wearing them for short walks before a long hike is recommended to ensure comfort. To maintain performance, clean the exterior with a soft brush and lukewarm water after muddy treks to prevent abrasive dirt from damaging the polyester mesh. Avoid machine washing or drying, as this can degrade the ISOTEX waterproof membrane. If the shoes become very wet inside, stuff them with newspaper and allow them to air dry in a well-ventilated area away from direct heat sources like radiators to prevent the materials from warping or becoming brittle.
