This interior door catch provides latching for internal doors were a lock mechanism is not required. The lightly sprung latch bolt will retract fully with only 25-30-degree depression of a lever or knob handle, making opening and closing doors effortless. The latch bolt is made from solid brass for enhanced durability. These door catches have been successfully tested to meet the requirements of the current European standard for CE approval. They are suitable for use on fire doors as they are approved with the EN1634-1 fire rate standards. This is an invaluable safety feature which helps to minimise the spread of fire by ensuring doors remain closed. These latches are suitable for use with standard door handles as well as bolt through door furniture such as rose mounted handles or mortice knobs. They can be used on both left and right-handed interior doors. These XFORT tubular latches require standard installation for doors having 65mm width from the door edge to the centre of the door handle. Please refer to the images for detailed product dimensions. They are supplied complete with the keep, rectangular cover plates and colour matched fixing screws. ENHANCED QUALITY: The latch bolt itself is made from solid brass for enhanced durability FINISH: For internal wooden doors and finished in polished brass. WIDE APPLICATION: Suitable for both left and right-handed internal wooden doors. COMPATIBILITY: Designed for door handles, rose-mounted handles or mortice knobs.
