The Salomon XA Pro 3D is optimally designed for varied and rocky terrains. Its features like the 3D chassis and Contagrip® outsole provide excellent stability and grip on challenging, uneven surfaces.

The Quicklace™ system uses a single, strong lace for one-pull tightening. You pull the lace to achieve your desired fit, then push the stopper down to secure it. Excess lace can be tucked into a small pocket on the tongue.

To clean, brush off loose dirt. For deeper cleaning, hand wash with lukewarm water and mild soap, then rinse thoroughly. Air dry naturally away from direct heat. Do not machine wash or tumble dry.

Contagrip® is Salomon's proprietary outsole technology engineered for optimal traction on diverse surfaces. The premium wet compound variant in the XA Pro 3D is specifically formulated to provide superior grip in wet and slippery conditions.

The improved 3D Chassis is a low-profile advanced chassis strategically placed between the outsole and midsole. It optimizes motion control and energy management, enhancing stability and protection for a precise and responsive ride on technical trails.

This specific model of the Salomon XA Pro 3D does not inherently feature waterproof protection. If waterproof capabilities are required for very wet conditions, please look for Salomon models with GORE-TEX (GTX) in their product name.

The 'chute' refers to the heel-to-toe drop, which is 11mm for the Salomon XA Pro 3D. This measurement indicates the difference in height between the heel and the forefoot of the shoe.

To adjust, press the release button on the Quicklace™ stopper to loosen the laces. To tighten, simply pull the lace upwards until the desired tension is achieved, then ensure the stopper is pushed down securely.

While the Contagrip® outsole is designed for wet conditions, excessive mud or debris caked on the lugs can reduce performance. Clean the outsole thoroughly after use to maintain optimal grip. Ensure the terrain is suitable for the shoe's design.

Ensure the shoe size is correct (UK11 in this instance) and consider wearing appropriate moisture-wicking socks. Break in new shoes gradually with shorter activities. If discomfort persists, inspect your lacing tension or consult a specialist for fit advice.
