The Nike ACG ZoomX Ultrafly trainers focus on breathability, meaning they are not fully waterproof, though they are designed to dry quickly.
These are designed specifically for trails; the outsole lug pattern is optimized for loose ground and may wear down quickly or feel uncomfortable on hard road surfaces.
The shoes follow standard UK adult sizing. It is recommended to try them on in the afternoon when your feet are slightly swollen to simulate trail conditions.
ZoomX foam is designed to provide high energy return and lightweight cushioning, helping you maintain pace with less physical effort.
Store in a cool, dry place out of direct sunlight to prevent the midsole foam from degrading or the materials from fading.
Ensure the laces are tensioned correctly through the eyelets to provide a locked-in fit, or check if the shoe size is too loose.
Check the tread for embedded rocks or caked mud, which can significantly reduce grip; clear debris with a stiff brush.
For the best fit, ensure you select your standard UK sizing, bearing in mind that trail running socks often require a bit more volume in the toe box. To maintain the performance of the ZoomX foam and the integrity of the upper material, clean your trainers after every muddy excursion. Use a soft-bristled brush to remove dried dirt from the outsole and a damp, non-abrasive cloth to wipe down the exterior. Avoid machine washing or drying, as high heat can compromise the adhesive and foam properties.
