Troubleshooting
Awning fabric looks saggy or loose
Adjust the tension of the retractable arms or check if the fabric needs to be tightened at the roller tube attachment points.
LED lights are not turning on at night
Ensure the solar panel is not obstructed by shadows during the day and check that the battery connection is secure.

Setup, Compatibility & Care
Installation of the vidaXL Retractable Awning is straightforward but requires two people to handle the weight and alignment of the aluminum frame safely. Ensure you have a standard screwdriver and the appropriate drill for your mounting surface. Before installing, check the wall structure to ensure it can support the tension of the awning arm. Maintenance is simple: periodically brush off loose dirt from the fabric and wipe down the aluminum frame with a damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners. It is recommended to retract the awning fully during extreme weather conditions or heavy snowfall to prevent damage to the folding arm mechanism.
