Product Information

Full details

The Guru Foam Pellet Waggler Float (2SSG) is an essential tool for shallow water anglers looking to target wary or pressured fish with minimal disruption. Constructed from high-density 10mm foam, this float provides excellent buoyancy and stability while its specialized finish helps it blend into the surface environment. While it is highly effective for stealthy presentations, users should note that the 3.2g weight is specifically optimized for shallow-water tactics and may not be suitable for deep-water or heavy-current conditions.

FAQs

How many floats come in the pack?

This pack includes 2 Guru Foam Pellet Waggler Floats.

What is the weight of this float?

Each float weighs 3.2g.

Can I use this float with other brands of line stops?

While it may work with others, we recommend Guru Super Tight Line Stops for the most secure fit and to prevent slippage.

Is this float suitable for long-distance casting?

The float is designed for precision shallow work; while it casts accurately due to the flighted cap, it is not intended for extreme long-range distance fishing.

How do I prevent the float from damaging the line?

Always ensure you are using the recommended Guru Waggler Adaptors, which are designed to cushion the line connection.

Troubleshooting

Float is tangling during cast

Ensure you feather the line slightly before the float hits the water to straighten the rig and reduce wind knots.

Float sits too low or too high

Verify that your shotting pattern is correct and that you are using the appropriate Guru Waggler Converter.

Pros and Cons

Pros

  • Minimal disturbance upon water entry
  • Enhanced camouflage for pressured fish
  • Improved casting accuracy due to flighted cap
  • Durable 10mm high-density foam construction

Cons

  • Fixed 3.2g weight limits versatility in deep water
  • Requires specific Guru adapters for best performance
  • Limited to shallow water fishing applications

Setup, Compatibility & Care

To achieve the best results, use these floats in combination with the Guru Waggler Converters and Waggler Adaptors. This modular system allows for quick swaps without needing to re-tie your entire rig.

  1. Slide a Guru Super Tight Line Stop onto your main line.
  2. Attach the Waggler Adaptor to the line.
  3. Secure the float to the adaptor.
  4. Adjust the depth by moving the line stop up or down the line.

For care, rinse the floats with fresh water after each session to remove pond debris and store them in a protective tube or foam case to prevent the foam from being crushed.
