The DWR (Durable Water Repellent) coating may have worn off. Consider using a technical spray-on re-proofer to restore the water-beading properties.
This is often caused by heavy exertion. Ensure the underarm vents are open and consider wearing moisture-wicking base layers rather than cotton.
Clean the reflective strips with a mild soap and water solution, as dirt and mud buildup can obstruct the reflective beads.
To ensure the longevity of the waterproof coating, avoid machine washing with harsh detergents; instead, wipe down with a damp cloth or hand wash in cold water using a technical gear cleaner. Ensure the garment is completely air-dried away from direct heat sources, such as radiators, which can damage the taped seams. When not in use, store the set in its provided bag after ensuring it is bone-dry to prevent mildew. The set is designed to be worn over regular base or mid-layers; check the size chart to ensure enough clearance for your intended mid-layer garments.
