Setup, Compatibility & Care
To ensure the jacket maintains its technical capabilities, follow these care instructions:
- Cleaning: Always close all zippers and flaps before washing. Use a technical cleaner specifically designed for waterproof outerwear; avoid standard fabric softeners as they can strip the DWR coating.
- Drying: Tumble dry on a low heat setting to help reactivate the water-repellent finish.
- Storage: Hang the jacket in a cool, dry place when not in use, ensuring the snowskirt is untangled to prevent long-term stress on the elastic.
- Layering: While the jacket is insulated, it is best used as the outer layer of a three-layer system. Pair with a moisture-wicking base layer and a thermal mid-layer for maximum effectiveness in extreme conditions.
