YouGarden Go IllumiWell Planter - Brown

The 3-litre water reservoir can keep plants hydrated for up to three weeks, depending on plant type, size, and weather conditions.

It works well with trailing plants like lobelia and petunias, as well as bedding plants and smaller shrubs that fit within the 6-litre planting capacity.

The solar light unit on top can be twisted to switch it on and off. You can also select between a white light mode and a colour-changing mode.

The planter measures approximately 400mm wide, 390mm high, and 300mm deep.

No, it is designed to slot securely onto fence panels or posts. Ensure the fence is stable and the planter is fitted snugly.

It is made from robust, recycled household materials in the UK.

No, the self-watering system is passive, and the light is solar-powered, requiring no mains electricity.

While designed primarily for fences and posts, it may be mountable on a suitable wall structure if a secure fixing point can be achieved, though this is not its intended use.

Ensure the fence panel or post is of a suitable thickness and rigidity. Adjust the planter's position slightly to find a snug fit. If necessary, consider adding a small shim for stability.

Check that the wick system is properly submerged in the water and making good contact with the soil. Ensure the soil is not overly compacted, which can hinder water wicking. Water from the top initially to re-establish moisture in the soil.

Ensure the solar panel on top is clean and free of debris. Make sure the planter is positioned where it receives direct sunlight for at least 6-8 hours a day. Twist the light unit to ensure it is switched on and check the battery if applicable (though typically integrated).

Confirm that the planter is not installed at an angle that prevents water from reaching the wick or filling mechanism. Ensure the reservoir filling point is clear of obstructions.
