No, the Day One series is designed for everyday casual leisure wear and does not provide the technical support required for running.
You can clean the rubber soles with a specialized rubber cleaner or a damp cloth with mild soap.
It is recommended to avoid machine washing as it can damage the canvas and weaken the adhesive on the rubber soles.
The Converse Day One trainers generally follow standard sizing; however, since they feature a lace-up design, you have room to adjust the fit.
Canvas is a natural fiber and may provide some minor stretching to accommodate the shape of your foot with consistent wear.
Double knot the laces or replace them with higher-friction cotton laces.
Use a soft-bristled brush with warm water and mild detergent to spot-clean; do not submerge the shoes.
Loosen the top two sets of laces to reduce pressure on the padded collar area.
To ensure the best fit, adjust the laces starting from the bottom eyelets to accommodate your foot width before tying. For care, keep the canvas clean by brushing off loose dirt after use. For deeper stains, spot-clean with a mild soap solution and a soft cloth, allowing the shoes to air dry away from direct heat sources to prevent the material from warping or fading. Avoid machine washing, as this can degrade the glue and structural integrity of the rubber sole.
