FAQs

What is the main benefit of the platform-top construction?

The platform-top construction provides a solid, consistent surface that supports your mattress evenly, preventing sagging and enhancing its longevity. It also offers a clean, modern aesthetic.

How do I choose the right storage configuration?

Consider your storage needs. If you need to store bedding or accessories, opt for the 2-drawer or 4-drawer options. For minimal storage needs, the no-drawer option offers a cleaner silhouette.

Is the headboard height adjustable?

No, the included headboard is a fixed 54-inch floor-standing design.

Can I use any type of mattress with this base?

Yes, the Tokyo Divan Base is compatible with all standard mattress types, including sprung, memory foam, and hybrid mattresses. Ensure the mattress size matches the base size.

How is the base delivered?

The base is delivered in sections. For small single and single sizes, it's typically one piece. Larger sizes (double and above) usually come in two pieces for easier handling and delivery.

What is the warranty period for the divan base?

Please refer to the retailer's specific warranty policy for the Comfort Beds Tokyo Divan Base, as this can vary.

Are the drawers on metal runners?

Yes, the drawers are fully lined and glide smoothly on metal runners for easy operation.

Troubleshooting

Base is uneven or wobbles

Ensure all gliders are securely attached and adjusted evenly. Check that the base sections are properly connected if it's a larger size.

Headboard is not secure

Verify that all headboard bolts and fixings are tightened correctly. Ensure the pre-fitted metal clips are engaged properly.

Drawers are difficult to open/close

Check for any obstructions in the drawer runners. Ensure the base is on a level surface. If issues persist, contact customer support.

Missing components

Carefully check all packaging. If components are still missing, contact customer support with your order details.
