Product Information

Full details

The Under Armour ArmourVent Low Cap is designed for athletes and active individuals who prioritize cooling performance during intense outdoor training on hot days. By utilizing specialized ventilation technology and heat-dispersing fabrics, it offers superior breathability and a lightweight feel; however, users should note that the structured front panel design may not offer the soft, packable flexibility of unstructured 'dad hat' style caps.

FAQs

Is this cap machine washable?

It is highly recommended to hand wash this cap to preserve the structured front panel and the technical fabric properties.

Does the cap provide sun protection?

While the pre-curved visor provides shade for your eyes, the ArmourVent technology is designed primarily for breathability rather than UV-blocking.

How do I determine my size?

Measure the circumference of your head where the sweatband will sit. Match that measurement against the brand's size chart to choose between S/M, M/L, and L/XL.

Will the Iso-Chill sweatband work if I have thick hair?

Yes, the sweatband works by contacting the skin on your forehead to disperse heat regardless of hair thickness.

Can this be worn for casual use?

Absolutely. While it is engineered for performance, its low-profile design is suitable for everyday athletic wear.

Troubleshooting

Cap loses shape after washing

Avoid machine washing. If it becomes misshapen, gently reshape the front panel while damp and let it air dry in a neutral position.

Sweatband feels saturated

Rinse the sweatband with fresh water after each heavy workout to clear out salt buildup and maintain its heat-dispersing efficiency.

Pros and Cons

Pros

Excellent heat management in high temperatures
Effective sweat-wicking properties
Resistant to odor buildup
Lightweight and durable construction
Maintains structural shape during activity

Cons

Structured front panel is less packable than unstructured caps
Specific sizing (S/M, M/L, L/XL) requires accurate head measurement
Limited to sporty, performance-focused aesthetic

Setup, Compatibility & Care

To ensure the longevity of your ArmourVent cap, follow these care guidelines:

Sizing: This product is sold in specific sizes (S/M, M/L, L/XL). Measure your head circumference before selection to ensure the best fit.
Washing: Hand wash with cold water to maintain the integrity of the structured front panel. Avoid harsh detergents.
Drying: Air dry only. Do not tumble dry, as high heat can compromise the stretch properties of the fabric and the shape of the visor.
Storage: Store in a cool, dry place. Avoid crushing the front panel under heavy items to keep its intended silhouette.
