Setup, Compatibility & Care
Initial Setup: Your Ingersoll 1892 The Yield watch comes with an instruction manual. For a new automatic watch, or one that has stopped, you may need to wind the crown approximately 30-40 times clockwise until you feel resistance. This will provide an initial power reserve. Once worn, the automatic movement will continue to wind itself. Setting the time and date is done via the crown: pull the crown out to the first position to adjust the date and to the second position to set the time.
Compatibility: This is a mechanical watch and does not require electronic compatibility. The stainless steel bracelet is designed to fit most wrist sizes and can be adjusted by a jeweler.
Care: To maintain your watch, avoid exposing it to strong magnetic fields, extreme temperatures, and harsh chemicals. Clean the case and bracelet periodically with a soft, damp cloth. Ensure the crown is pushed in or screwed down (if applicable) after setting to maintain water resistance. It is recommended to have the water resistance checked periodically, especially if the watch is frequently exposed to water.
