FAQs

Are these shoes suitable for professional tennis matches?

While inspired by tennis design, these are lifestyle trainers intended for casual wear and light activity, not professional-grade court performance.

How do I determine my size?

These trainers use standard UK adult sizing. It is recommended to choose the size you typically wear in Nike athletic footwear.

Are the materials waterproof?

The leather upper is water-resistant, but they are not fully waterproof and should be kept out of heavy rain to prevent water damage.

Can I put these in the washing machine?

No, machine washing can damage the leather and the adhesives used in the construction. Clean them by hand only.

Will the white leather turn yellow over time?

Proper storage away from direct UV light and regular cleaning will significantly slow down the natural aging and potential yellowing process.

Troubleshooting

Creasing on the toe box

Creasing is a natural characteristic of leather footwear; using shoe trees when not in use can help maintain the shape.

Scuffs on the white leather

Use a specialized leather eraser or a soft cloth with a small amount of mild soap and water to gently buff out scuff marks.

Pros and Cons

Pros

Durable leather material offers long-lasting wear
Versatile design matches various casual outfits
Reliable Nike construction and quality standards
Stylish court-inspired aesthetic

Cons

Leather may feel stiff initially
White colorway requires regular cleaning
Primarily for casual use rather than high-intensity court sports

Setup, Compatibility & Care

To ensure your Nike Tennis Centre trainers remain in top condition, follow these simple care guidelines:

Cleaning: Use a soft-bristled brush or damp cloth to wipe down the leather upper. For tougher stains, use a mild leather-safe cleaner.
Drying: Always air dry the shoes away from direct heat sources like radiators, which can warp or crack the leather.
Storage: Store in a cool, dry place out of direct sunlight to prevent the white leather from yellowing.
Compatibility: These trainers are available in a variety of UK adult sizes, making it easy to find your specific fit.
