Setup, Compatibility & Care
Before your first hike, ensure the fit is snug but allows for natural foot swelling that occurs during physical activity. To maintain the leather upper, use a soft-bristled brush to remove dried mud or grit after each use. If the shoes become wet, allow them to air dry naturally in a cool, shaded area; avoid direct heat sources such as radiators, as these can cause the leather to crack or lose its shape. For periodic deep cleaning, use a specialized leather cleaner and re-apply a protective spray if necessary to maintain water-resistant properties.
