FAQs

How waterproof is the dry sack?

The dry sack is designed to be waterproof, protecting contents from rain, splashes, and moisture. However, it is not fully submersible, and prolonged submersion is not recommended.

What materials are used?

The main body fabrics are bluesign approved and GRS-certified 100% recycled polyester.

How do I clean the dry sack?

Wipe clean with a damp cloth and allow to air dry completely.

Can I use this for liquids?

While the dry sack is waterproof, it's designed to protect from external moisture, not to contain liquids. Pack liquids in separate, leak-proof containers.

What is the roll-top closure?

The roll-top closure involves rolling the top of the sack down multiple times and securing it with a buckle to create a waterproof seal.

What if the buckle breaks?

Contact Osprey customer service for assistance or replacement options.

Is the material resistant to UV damage?

While the materials are durable, prolonged exposure to direct sunlight can degrade the material over time. Store the dry sack out of direct sunlight when not in use to extend its lifespan.

Troubleshooting

Dry sack is not waterproof.

Ensure the roll-top closure is sealed tightly and securely fastened. Check for any damage to the fabric or seams.

Difficulty rolling the top closed.

Make sure items inside are not overpacked. Try adjusting the contents to allow for a proper seal.

Material has a tear or puncture.

Use a patch kit suitable for waterproof materials or contact Osprey customer service for repair options.
