Setup, Compatibility & Care
To ensure your boots last for many miles, follow these guidelines. For setup, ensure you lace the boots firmly but comfortably to avoid heel slip. These are true to size, but consider wearing hiking-specific wool or synthetic socks to maximize the moisture-wicking benefits of the footwear. To clean, remove loose mud with a soft brush after every hike. If the boots become deeply soiled, wipe the exterior with a damp cloth and mild soap. Always air-dry them away from direct heat sources, such as radiators, which can degrade the waterproof membrane or the foam components.
