Setup, Compatibility & Care Instructions
Setup (Modification):
- Decision: Decide if you want to convert the shoe to a low-top.
- Preparation: Place the shoe on a clean, flat surface. Ensure you have sharp scissors or a craft knife.
- Cutting: Carefully cut along the perforated line separating the collar from the main upper. Go slowly and steadily for a clean edge.
- Finishing: Inspect the cut edge. You can choose to leave it as is or carefully trim any stray threads.
Compatibility:
This is a lifestyle sneaker, primarily compatible with casual and athletic apparel. Its design allows it to pair well with jeans, shorts, track pants, and various streetwear styles.
Care:
- Cleaning: Use a soft brush or damp cloth to wipe away surface dirt. For tougher stains on leather, use a mild leather cleaner. Avoid soaking the shoes.
- Materials: The combination of leather and Durabuck requires specific care. Leather can be conditioned periodically. Durabuck can be cleaned with a suede brush or appropriate cleaner for synthetic materials.
- Storage: Store in a cool, dry place, preferably in a shoe tree or with stuffing to maintain shape. Avoid direct sunlight for prolonged periods to prevent color fading.
