FAQs
Are these shoes machine washable?
No, machine washing can damage the materials and construction. Clean with a damp cloth instead.
Are these suitable for sports?
They are perfect for everyday activity and light play, but they are not specialized performance footwear for competitive sports.
What is the best way to dry them if they get wet?
Stuff the shoes with paper towels to absorb moisture and allow them to air dry at room temperature.
Do these shoes come in other colors?
Yes, the Assert 11 series is available in several colorways, including Black, Blue, Grey, and White combinations.
Are these for boys or girls?
The Assert 11 range includes both gender-specific and unisex designs suitable for all children.
Troubleshooting
Shoes feeling too tight
Ensure laces are loosened properly or check if the child has outgrown the current size, as feet grow rapidly.
Visible dirt or mud on the upper
Use a soft-bristled brush or damp cloth to gently remove debris after the mud has dried.
Pros and Cons
Pros
- Provides reliable support for growing feet
- Durable enough for daily playground activities
- Modern, athletic-inspired aesthetic
- Comfortable fit for all-day wear
Cons
- Not intended for high-performance athletic competition
- Limited to casual and light activity use
- Specific sizing requires precise measurement
Setup, Compatibility & Care
To ensure the longest life for your Under Armour Assert 11 trainers, perform a quick check of the laces or closures before each use to ensure a secure fit. Compatibility is standard for UK children's footwear sizing; however, always verify the specific size against a foot measurement chart as fit can vary slightly between models. To clean, wipe down the exterior with a damp cloth and mild soap. Avoid machine washing or drying, as high heat can compromise the structural integrity and glue bonds of the shoe. Allow them to air dry naturally away from direct sunlight or heat sources.
