Setup, Compatibility & Care
These boots arrive ready to wear. To ensure the longevity of your rubber Wellingtons:
- Cleaning: After use in mud, rinse the boots with lukewarm water and a soft brush or cloth. Allow them to air dry away from direct heat sources like radiators, as extreme heat can cause the rubber to crack.
- Storage: Store in a cool, dark place. Prolonged exposure to sunlight can fade the plaid pattern and degrade the rubber material.
- Care: If the rubber begins to look dull or develops a whitish film (blooming), use a dedicated rubber boot care spray to restore the shine and maintain material flexibility.
- Fit: These are standard UK adult sizes; wear with a medium-weight sock for the most comfortable fit during cooler months.
